Eric and Rebekah answered God’s call into international missions through the official founding of ro|twelve Ministries in the fall of 2017. While development of the ministry began as mere seeds of “what if” thoughts in early 2015, those seeds were sewn in intense prayer and gradually grew over the next few years as Rebekah spent increasing time serving in international fields all over the globe. God continued leading the couple in trust and dependance upon Him to pursue the mission that has now become ro|twelve Ministries- a growing 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to training, exhorting, and equipping missionaries outside the typical model, and providing them opportunities to share the love of Jesus through conventional and unconventional ministry avenues, both nationally and internationally. In 2020, the ministry had grown enough that Rebekah left her staff position in church ministry to continue development of ro|twelve full-time. After a short two years of tremendous growth despite pandemic chaos, God called Eric to join in full-time service and the couple will begin serving as the ministry’s first international field missionaries in the spring of 2023.
Eric and Rebekah met and began their relationship as teenagers. They have been married for more than 26 years and have two adult children. Their daughter, Haylee, graduated from VA Tech in 2020, enjoys working for Disney, and is planning a winter 2023 wedding with fiancé, Jordan. The couple’s son, Bryce, completed his undergrad in religious studies at the University of Tennessee in 2021 and is currently working towards a masters degree in student affairs. Because of their passionate belief in the incredible power of children’s ministry, Eric and Rebekah hope to have many grandchildren some day with whom they can share the Gospel and love of Jesus!
Peter has a long history of working with families and children through local church ministry, as well as crisis oriented ministry services. He has spent many years teaching preschool, kindergarten, and elementary age children about Gospel truths. His crisis ministry experiences and counseling education background support his goals to build healthy families and churches. Peter has put his seminary training into action by creating curriculum content that teaches the learner that the Bible is Christocentric.
Peter’s interest and desire to serve God through international missions began in early childhood after learning about Amy Carmichael, the Irish Christian missionary who rescued orphan children in India for more than 55 years. Peter has spent time serving and ministering internationally in Republic of Georgia, Nicaragua, and Guatemala. Peter’s passion in ministry is creating conversations about our spiritual need for Jesus Christ, a passion made possible first through meeting the physical needs of others.
Pastor Julian is a compassionate shepherd. He has an abundant heart for children’s ministry and addiction recovery. He has dedicated his life, his talents, his labor, and his fruits to see the work of The Lord multiplied in His community. His confidence in God’s calling upon his life to establish and lead Iglesia Dios de Pactos (God of Covenant Church) is so strong, that he and his wife, Dominga Victoria, have graciously and joyfully given up their well built cinder block home to support the new congregation. Currently, they are renting, with their own personal funds, a small metal and block building next door where they have relocated the family and bakery business in an effort to freely utilize the makeshift church space in their home as needed.
Julian and Dominga Victoria have a teen daughter, Beverly. The couple has been through immeasurable heartache at the loss of two other children early in their little lives, but they freely testify of God’s goodness and faithfulness through those tragic losses and attribute their passion for children’s ministry to the same.
